Video cards and ram

Hello,
I have a nvida gts 250 and 4gb of dual channel 1600mhz ram. If I increase my ram to 8gb total would it have any affect on my gts 250's gaming capabilities.

Im building a Amd Phenom II B50 3.1 ghz m4a88t-Evo with dual channel 2gb 1600mhz sticks for my cousin I got him a sparkle gts 250 low profile but it just doesn't seem like a manly card to go in a soprano rs case. So im wondering if i should just look for something else or use it. I have my 9800 gt 1gb I just exchanged for a gtx 460 as an option also but I know the gts 250 is more efficient.

wait. what? GTS 250 isn't more efficient than GTX 460, adding RAM probably would not make any improvement in every day use

For gaming, you will see no to very little difference between 4 and 8 gig of RAM. You'd need a benchmark to tell any differences, you won't be able to "feel" the difference. So not worth it.
