More about does dg33fb support
  1. no, it supports 1.8V ddr2 sdram only, but you can get 8GB with 800MHz memory

Very few MOBO's have both DDR2 and DDR3 RAM DIMM slots. However, in your instance you have support for only DDR2 and DDR3 will not fit or work or is compatible with DDR2 DIMM slots. Further, 2GB on XP is plenty and I do not recommend XP 64-bit OS. IF you use Windows 7 I recommend a minimum of 4GB and 8GB requires a 64-bit version of Windows 7 or Vista.

    Your options:
    As-is
    4GB 2x2GB DDR2 Kit
8GB 4x4GB DDR2 Kit or Kits ; matching Frequency, CAS Timings and Voltage

    Memory Specifications
Max Memory Size (dependent on memory type) 8 GB
    Memory Types DDR2-800/677
    # of Memory Channels 2
    # of DIMMs 4
  3. Your cpu supports ddr3 ram but your mobo doesnt. You can update your system upto 8gb ddr2 ram.
