Hello, I recently bought an HP Pavilion p6703w from WAL-MART recently and I'm wondering which graphics cards are compatible with it.. The specs on the machine are:
AMD Athlon II 640 3.0 Ghz, 5 GB DDR3 RAM, N-Alvorix-RS880-uATX Motherboard, 750 GB 7200RPM HD, 3 x PCI Express (x1) slots, 1 x PCI Express (x16) slot, 1 x MiniCard..

Does anyone have a suggestion?

Also, any suggestions on power supply? Currently it has a 250 W PS..

Howdy,

I just purchased one myself from walmart ... and it actually is a pretty fast computer once you get a graphics card in it.

If you plan on doing any sort of gaming you will want to pick up something like I did ... Here is my system now:

HP Pavilion p6703w All stock but the following:

500GB Caviar Black Sata Hard drive - reserved only for games, music and movies to keep my system drive uncluttered.

XTX Radeon HD 5850 http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=6078264&CatId=3669

Rosewill 500w stallion power supply http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182044&cm_re=rosewill_500w-_-17-182-044-_-Product ... with 2 fans .. trust me you will want extra cooling in this system once you get that behemoth graphics card in there! ... dont worry though, everything fits fine except the powersupply was a bit hard to get in there (not toooo bad though :D)
