Problems when SLI is disabled?

Hi there. So my computer runs great. I'm running with dual gtx 560 ti cards and have had no problems at all. Problem is, Starcraft 2 doesn't support SLI, so when I play I have to disable it. Game runs great for a while, but the screen starts going completely blank for 10 seconds or so every now and then, then continues to run good for a while, then does the same thing. Over and over. It's like its trying to run off both cards, but not at the same time. Like it's switching between them. Does anyone have a solution to this problem? Thanks.

Edit: I believe it is a problem with the disabled SLI because before I realized it was originally disabled I was playing Crysis 2 and I had the same problem.

You're running the latest drivers, I presume? Does this only happen when you have SLI off? Does it happen when you have only one card plugged into the system?

This may narrow the width of field a bit as far as problem source .... You have your monitor connected to Card 1 .... after you disable SLI, turn machine off and reboot .....if that don't work, turn off and disconnect the SLI ribbon cable ... then boot ....
