LOOKING 2 BUY ATI 4850X2

im look 2 buy a 4850x2 i know that its a old card but i find most of the new card suck or cost way 2 much and are not much betterif anyone can help me out that would be nice TY

I would steer you away from this particular model...
1) It is an old card, but still would cost way too much, probably even 2nd hand
2) Lots of heat and noise
3) Unfortunately it is one of those products that never received the driver support that should have in the first place from ATI/AMD
 
Exactly what newer cards do you think "suck" in comparison with to an old, hot, extremely inefficient, DX10 dual GPU card?
Frankly you should forget about it but in any case they don't make the HD4850x2 any more. If you really want that card for some reason you are going to have to find it used on Ebay or somewhere.
Or if your motherboard supports crossfire you can get two of these;

It would be the same as an HD4850x2 but with better cooling.
 

My initial thought is the same, the card will cost more than its worth. Also I don't know what cards "suck" in comparison but if you want to spend $300 you should look at the HD 6950.
