I'm very new to building a custom pc and i wanted to make one that could play the upcoming game The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. I want to know if all these specs are compatible and would it turn out to be a fairly good gaming pc.

Here are the items i am thinking of purchasing for the build:

These are the specs im thinking of getting. Are they compatible? If so is this build good enough to support Skyrim? Thanks :wahoo:

why buy that phenom x6 when you can have an i5 2500k and a p67 motherboard for less money and get more performance. the x6 are media parts not gaming parts. they dont oc particularly well and at stock arnt as good clock for clock as an ordinary x4 phenom 965
not to mention the x6's are deliberately under-clocked to make them look more over clockable...
