I7 950 Games stutter when oc'd

Hi,
I have an i7 950 and recently overclocked it to 3.6 Ghz, this caused my games to stutter. If I set it back to stock speeds the stuttering stops.

I have cooler master cooler (not sure on the model but it is huge with dual fans) and the cpu hits 65 degrees C during prime 95.
I also have a large case with a number of fans.

Any suggestions guys?

What video card, and what RAM are you using?

What are your temps during gaming. 65 Prime isn't bad on an i7 though. Overclocking the CPU did you lower your RAM timings accordingly to count out the possibility of memory problems?

I mean lower the data rate and loosen timings.

Hi, I made sure my ram was running at 1600, it runs fine at that speed when cpu is at stock speed.

Do i need to lower it further?

No, you shouldn't need to in that case. What are your temps during gaming? CPU, GPU, chipset, everything

uhh try to increase voltage by a notch or 2
