My computer is not coming on. It goes to a blue screen which says registry failure.

Have you tried using the Advanced Boot Options menu? After you press the power button to turn on your computer, imediately and repeatedly press the F8 key. Once you get to the menu, select Last Known Good Configuration.

If that doesn't work, get back into the Advanced Boot Options again, but this time try Safe Mode.
