No sound output on left side

I'm not getting any sound output from the left side of neither my speakers nor my headphones. Both are new. I DO get full sound through my monitor built-in speakers using HDMI. I checked all the Windows sound balance settings, so no problems there. I just got done fully uninstalling and reinstalling all the sound drivers, but that didn't seem to help at all. I tried equipment in both the back port off the MoBo and also the front headphone jack. Same thing. I have no sound card, it's the built-in sound on my motherboard.

To recap: I get sound through HDMI, but no sound comes from the left side if I use speakers or headphones, both of which are new.

Any help?

It may be a physical issue with the speaker/headphone jack. Are you plugging both into the same jack?

I tried each of them on the front headphone jack and also on the back motherboard jack, so a physical problem with the jack seems unlikely, but still possible I guess.

This probably won't help, but you could try disabling the sound in the bios, rebooting, re-enabling?
