Should I upgrade from E6300

Hello,

I want better performance in casual gaming. Right now I play world of tanks. I was thinking on upgrading to a core 2 quad 8200. Is it worth it or is there a better affordable CPU anyone would recommend. I do not want to spend much money and don't want to change my mobo. (socket 775)

ati HD4670
3GB ram

It depends on how much you'll spend on the E8200. Don't expect a huge difference when playing games unless you also get a better video card. This review may help, but bear in mind that they used a much more powerful HD 4890: http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Intel/Pentium_E6300/10.html
