Outlook Attachments Problem

Hello,
i cant attach a file from shared folder from network system to my microsoft outlook 2007.Pl solve my problem

Do you get an error? Can you copy the file over to the PC normally?

No, when i attach any network file in my Outlook its remain silent no error no msg but there will not be any attache

Have you tried just drag and dropping the file into the message ?

Copy the file and paste it on your desktop then drag the file to the email (or attach it through Outlook).

You do have sufficient rights to use files within the share, correct?

I'll bet the OP was facing something similar to what I'm facing. In Outlook Express 6, when I type a plaintext network link such as \\server\folder\file.ext, the link correctly turns to the blue color indicating that OE has realized that it is a link and has made it clickable. BUT, when I right-click the link in the message and look at its properties, it has been fudged so that clicking on it will actually try to access file://\\server\folder\file.ext. If the file:// could be removed, it would probably work.
