Dell U2711 Problems

Hi Guys,

I just bought a new Dell U2711 monitor.

I have it set up with 2560 x 1440 through DVI and while the resolution is correct (everything proportioned correctly), small writing/items appear blurred, even pixelated. I am currently writing this with google chrome zoomed in just so i can see what i am writing.

i have uninstalled ATI Catalyst and reinstalled. rebooted etc. cant understand it.

My gfx card is "HIS ATI Radeon HD 4850 iCooler IV 1024MB GDDR3 PCI-Express Graphics Card"

any help would be great.

also, i am running extended screen onto a 22'' LG monitor. the 22'' monitor is crystal clear via VGA. also runs crystal clear in isolation from the 27'' via vga and dvi. that rules out the cables.

i also want to rule out the screen because i purchased 2 samsung 24'' monitors prior to this dell and got same issue and sent them back think it was the monitors.

any help would be great!

apologies - i have found the issue... dual dvi cable!

god i feel like such an idiot!
