Hi,

Can anyone please give me a very quick answer? I have just bought the above card, and need to make sure before I install it, will it be ok in a PCI E X 8 slot? As that's the only one available on my Gigabyte X58 UD3R?

Can someone please let me know? As I am a noob and don't want to mess it up?!

Yes you can go into the X8 slot. Any PCIe card can go into a larger slot.
