Hello, can some give me the recommendations what would be better between a single: AMD Radeon HD 6970 2GB GDDR5 3D Video or 2 x NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460M 1.5GB DDR5 VRAM Video (2 x NVIDIA GTX Video in SLI Mode)

Which system will you be getting?
Performance is actually pretty similar, the 6970 trailing by ~10%, but the 460M SLI would be either lap searing, or heavily throttled. So say goodbye to more than 45min of battery life.

6970 is better choice imo:
you have more VRAM
more future-proof
stronger GPU
no issues
what're your full specs? resolution? 460 SLI is pointless, it performs very close to 6970, but has a lot of issues, they break very easily and consume damn a lot more power...

You forgot that they are mobile cards.
460M is full GF106 (GTS450) @ 675Mhz, while 6970M is 960SP Barts (HD6950) @ 680Mhz.
