Asus M V G Boot Problem

Hello,

I just built my budget gaming PC.

Mobo: Asus Maximus V Gene
CPU: i5 2500k
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8 (2x4)GB 1600MHz
GPU: 6850 CrossfireX

My problem is machine is not booting into os. Installation of os Windows XP was successful. After automatic restart, it is not able to pass through Windows xp logo screen and I immediately get BSOD. I tried several times, but restart problem is in loop and never stops. Also BSOD screen is visible for half / quarter of second so unable read BSOD reason.

Then I tried to install Win7 . It installed successfully and I used it for 1hour. After shutdown, when I again started it, same boot restart problem.

This is first time I bought ROG motherboard and have no idea if any bios settings can solve problem.

Please help if someone has resolved such issue.

See my reply in your other thread but did you do 32 or 64 bit install of 7?
