my laptop used intel dual-core..
and i want to change it to intel i5,
it's compatible with my motherboard?

No, I am assuming your talking about Intel Pentium Dual-core. This uses a different socket and the i5 will not be compatible. It is also quite unsafe to change your laptop's cpu, if your after upgrades then get a desktop computer.

I would recommend buying a new laptop.
