Hi everyone,
Im about to put together a new pc, and am looking at a radeon 6950 1GB. I'm wanting to buy the cheapest card and i'm going to be putting an aftermarket cooler on, but have noticed that the lengths of the cards from different manufacturers are slightly different.
Is this solely due to the coolers from different brands being different sizes, with the actual cards & PCB exactly the same size across all brands?
The reason I ask is that I have quite a small case, and the cheapest brand in my location might just be too long to fit, whereas the more expensive brands are shorter. But if once i've removed the stock cooler they'll all be the same size, then i can save some $$ and buy the cheap one.
