Hey im looking to upgrade my GPU to something a bit more powerful. I am not what you would call a hard core gamer i like to play Crysis 2 and COD Black OPs but i dont mind playing in a single monitor I also have no plans to use SLI or Crossfire.

My Specs

AMD PHENOM II X4 955 Black Edition

Asus M4A88TD V EVO /USB3

ATI HD 5670 1gb

G.Skill 4GB (2x2gb) DDR3 1333mhz

Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit

Antec 300

Antec Earthwatts 500 EA500D (Link below if that helps)

I have already made a similar post on the AMD Game forums but i figured id make one here seeing as I dont mind going to the Dark Side aka Nvidia

Solution
 what an idiot said that Antec Earthwatts 500 won't handle 5850 , it'll handle it fine and 5850 will play everything maxed on that resolution, but if you want more performance you can get a 6870 for 170$ on newegg AR

I play at 1680x1050 and i have about an 180 dollar budget. Like i said before i made a post on the AMD Game forums and it was recommended that i dont get a powerful card cause of my PSU which tbh i am not sure if they know what they are talking about. So do you really think that my PSU will handle a 5850? cause that would be amazing if i didnt have to upgrade my PSU

Also here is the AMD Game Forum post that i made. Im starting to think that i should stay away from the AMD forums i dont put much stock in what they say.
