How do i get my dell out of the power save mode?

Hello, my dell monitor is in power save mode here is what happens when i turn it on


it will come on for a half second and turns right back off but the button is still lit up so does anyone know how fix this?

Press the power off on the monitor, wait a few secs, then power on.

Check Monitor connections, and if you are able, check for video card dust buildup, remove, reseat the card.

I am having the same issue with my Lg flatron

A couple weeks ago I replaced my video graphics card because it had finally burned. I had no problems afterwards. The monitor was working fine and I was able to play skyrim with no problems.

I came home a day ago from work and tapped my mouse to wake up my computer but it just came on for a split second and popped the power save mode box up. I unplugged the power cords and video cords and reseated them, shut off the monitor, I also tried starting in safe mode and it wouldnt execute. Is this a power supply problem? My power supply is atleast 750w. Does this have anything to do with my new graphics card perhaps?
