I'm currently deployed but I'm planning on building a computer when I get back around Augest. I will probably purchase the parts around late augest or early september. I want my computer to play games very well, plus I will also have my computer be a software router for the network at home. I would only have a few devices connected, a max of 6 with only 2-3 actually pulling any heavy amount of bandwidth. That being said I do plan on having people stream movies from the computer via the network. I'm buying everything minus a sound card for this computer. I'm only going to use small 2 speaker system or haedphones with it. I also plan on overclocking this as I learn more about the systems.

Thanks for all your help.

I rather buy everything from one website and I'm using NewEgg.

Solution
that ssd seems really small. you will take up about half the drive with windows 7.
W7 x64 won't fit on 32GB. It takes up over half a 64GB SSD with all of the updates and such.
Go with an OCZ Vertex 3, Intel 320 or Intel 510 SSD - much faster and they use the SATA III ports.

go with a seagate or western digital Hard drive, you will be much happier
Go with a Samsung F3 - fastest platter drive and one of the (if not the) most reliable drives.

buy sata 3 6Gbps cables not SATA 1.5/3 Gbps cables
With a new mobo and retail drives, you don't need to buy any cables really. They'll come with the appropriate cables.

you might want to go with one of the Corsair H-series CPU coolers (the all in one liquid cooling). they...
Nice build but that psu isn't going to cut it. It's super over kill for a single 580 and won't cut it for pushing two of those cards...which seeing your motherboard I'm sure you want that option later on. You wan't a 900w+ psu for dual 580's so that you have some juice left over for o/c, extra drives, fans, etc... Take a look at these ones...

the visiontek killer 2100 network card is totally useless. it wont help you with anything. use the built in ethernet port and ull save some money

you might want to go with one of the Corsair H-series CPU coolers (the all in one liquid cooling). they will keep your cpu much cooler, prefferably the H70 or better

Waste of money - there are plenty of air coolers for half the price that do a better job, and don't make any more noise. Even the Cooler Master Hyper 212+ will do a fantastic job with an OCed i5/i7.

+1. I personally like that PC Power and Cooling 950W Silencer, and it is OEMed by Seasonic. I have a 950TX and it does a good job as well, but the Silencers tend to go on sale every once in a while.

I hope you don't have to pay shipping on that case. Amazon has most of the popular cases and ships almost all of them for free.

You have 2 CPU Coolers listed, just FYI. I would recommend the Cooler Master Hyper 212+ over both of the ones you have because it cools better than the H60 and is cheaper than both of them. You don't need an extreme cooler for the newer Sandy Bridge CPUs since they run cooler.

I can't get to the links for the Mobo and Hard Drive (dumb govt computers), but you'd be good spending $150 on the Gigabyte P67X-UD3-B3, and the WD Greens are slower hard drives. Just wanted to bring that up.
