Will kvm switch interfere with sound volume in win7

Ultra 2050 KVM switch working well with #1win7 64bit and #2xp pro 32bit EXCEPT for uncorrectable low low volume on the win7 side. I tried most of the known tricks.
Help anyone?

same problem here with win7 64bit and linux debian 32bit... except that i'm not using a switch but a bunch of cables. did you found any solution? anyone any idea? thanks !

maybe i should mention that linux is running on a notebook, windows on a desktop.

Hi y`all.
Nothing worked, despite much searching.
Then, EUREKA!
I connected some old POWERED speakers and voila.
Still can`t explain-WHY- but it now functions very well.
