Dvdroom use as an independent player

I have an extra dvdroom, i would like to use it as an independent player not attach to a pc. My problem is how to identify were to connect on the pin out the video and audio connection.

It only gives out digital signals ie 1 and 0, not the video so You need something to process that signal to turn into video. While everything is possible it is not worth the time and money to do it ( think hundreds or thousands here) when You can buy stand alone DVD player for $30 or £20
