Hey guys!

Just a quick question about the ASRock Z77 Extreme 4 - Will this card work just fine with a pair of R7850?

Eh okay, is it better to get a more future proof board? With 2 x16 ? If so can you link one.

Also is there a big difference between x8 and x16?

The CPU I'm getting is a 3570k

The difference between x8/x8 and x16/x16 is small.

The difference between x8/x8 and x16/x16 is negligible outside of benchmarks and some scientific computing apps that need to do massive amounts of communication between two cards or the card and the CPU.

U can get a card that is fast x16/x16 but it cost about $50 more than your mobo.

Oh Well I'm already getting the evo fan so thats great :)

Maybe I'm gonna look a bit further into a double x16 and the prices where I live :)

Nope.

The expansion slot area is identical to that of all the other Z77A series motherboards, consisting of two PCI-Express 3.0 x16 (x8/x8 when both are populated), one PCI-Express 2.0 x16 (electrical x4), and four PCI-Express 2.0 x1.

So i'll have to get a Z79 to get a PCI-Express 3.0 x16 (x16/x16) ?

Okay, so now you say i should go with the cheaper :p

What do you think about the MSI GD-45 VS Asrock Ex4 ? - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Productcompare.aspx?Submi...|13-157-293^13-157-293-TS%2C13-130-645^13-130-645-TS
Here, the MSI is 20$ Cheaper.

i Plan on using:
1 SSD
1 HDD
3570K - With Fan
7850 - Possible cf in the future
Antec HCG 620WM - Although im considering the http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... for the extra W
Corsair Vengeance 2x4gb
In my Antec P182 Case. Also i don't know if there is a difference between how many fans you can connect, but i currently got 3 and space for one more.

Thanks for all the help btw :D
