I have a few more questions;

1) Will this build be powerful enough to run games like; World of Warcraft, Empire total war and Counter Strike:source all on max/high settings?
2) Will everything fit in the case?

Thanks, Calvin.

This looks like a great build! I like how you got an am3+ motherboard!

I really like the graphics card too. XFX is a great company, and the hd6870 is a very fast card.

If you plan to Crossfire in the future, it may be a wise choice to get a 750w power supply. Modular is also good too. Here's one in particular I like:

A great PSU, and should last you many years!

If you have the money, I'd suggest getting a 64gb SSD. SSD's are slowly becoming the new trend. Yes, they're expensive, but it's definitely worth it! I personally like this Crucial one...

Also, if you are planning to upgrade to a bulldozer, I would suggest getting a Phenom II X2 (dual core). The dual cores can unlock up to a quad core. My friend got 3 cores out of it, which is great for the price!

And I'm not sure how much data you plan on saving, but a 500gb hard drive is $20 if you want to save a little money. I would also suggest you look into getting 2 hard drives and do RAID 1 on them. RAID 1 mirrors the hard disk onto the second one, so you always have a copy of your data! If you have a server that already manages backups don't bother. Here is the 500gb hard drive I was talking about...

Your ram looks good. 1600mhz is plenty fast. However, if you have a few extra bucks to spare, I believe AM3+ supports 1866mhz ram if you wanted to go that way. 1600mhz should be enough though!

And the HAF 922 is a great case and you should have no problem fitting everything in!

Oh, and I just looked, you may want to look into getting a motherboard with 4 ram slots. It would be easier to upgrade in the future to 8gb because instead of buying two new 4gb sticks, you could just buy an additional 2x2gb sticks to run with your current ram.

Have fun on your build!
