Looking to pickup a new mobo and I'm stuck between what would be a better purchase; a Gigabyte X79-UD3 or an Asus P9X79. If given that they are the same price, what would you purchase(assuming all parts fit mobo). I could look at the specs all day(have for quite a bit) and I really can't decide, so any help would be appreciated :)

For reference the other key components of my machine:

Case: Thermaltake Chaser MK-1
CPU: Intel® Core™ i7-3820 Quad-Core 3.60 GHz 10MB Intel Smart Cache LGA2011
RAM: 16G 4x4 Corsair XMS with Heat Spreader DDR3 1600
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 2GB 16X PCIe Video Card

  1. For the same price I would go with Asus. Both are quality products but I have had little quirks (default BIOS settings) with new builds on Gigabyte before so it is more like a personal preference.
