both non-reference and reference cards can be unlocked, just the chance that you will unlock non-reference is lower, that GIGABYTE 560 you listed has low OC and worse cooler than 6950, also the 6950 performs usually better than 560, while having lower power consumption. imo 6950 is better choice

ah wow thanks for ur reply .

hmm but looking at the 6950 . 3 fans..wont it be noisy?

the gigabyte 560 SOC seems to have the same cooler? and from the reviews i seen , it seems that the temps are quite good .

also i havent had able to find a review on the 6950 card about its temp and noise .

another question . when i have 2 monitors , one running on 1680 x 1050 and another 1920x1080 . does will it reduce performance when i game just on the 1920x1080?

6950 is also better overclocker than 560Ti, probably 6950 you listed will be quieter and cooler and yes, having 2 monitors will reduce the performance, but that's the place where 2GB kicks in, 560Ti will die when gaming on 1920x1080 and having 1680x1050 on.

:pfff: A single GTX560 runs just fine @1920 x 1080, two are better but one on it's own does not 'die' when gaming.
