I am looking to build a computer for gaming.
I had an i5 2500k build, 8GB DDR3, GTX 560 Ti but I was told this was more than I need and recommended this build.
1,000$ budget
Strictly gaming computer

I was told this was exactly what I needed to max out games for the next year or so and will give me money for accessories and just money saved in pocket.
I was told this processor can be unlocked to out do the i5 even though their both way more than I need.
Is this correct?
