I wonder what a pound is worth in American money?

About $1.60

^OP, you could try eBay. It would be more hassle, but have you thought of breaking it down and selling it as parts?

Trouble with selling parts on ebay is I'd most likely sell some parts, but then be stuck with other's... Don't think there's many ebayer's that would be interested in waterblocked GTX570's.. could be wrong though, I'll give it a shot with some reserves.

eBay isn't the place to go with those kinds of items. I'd recommend going over to AnandTech's For Sale forum (need to sign up to view) and [H]ardForum's For Sale forum. The communities in those forums are more geared to the high-end, enthusiast and even hardcore users.
I bought most of the parts of my liquid cooling system there (rads and blocks).

Top tip, thank you.
