I'm looking for the plastic parts that adapt a CD (or CDRW, DVD, etc.)
to the modular bay for an HP Omnibook 6100. This would include the
little adapter PC board/connector for the rear of the drive and also
the attacment screws. I don't need a front bezel piece.

If parts at this level can be ordered through HP Partsurfer, how does
one find the part numbers? Do you need to use the full HP Partsurfer
CD, as the online parts are for higher level assemblies.

Or if someone has a completely dead drive but with good mechanical
parts, I would be interested.

Thanks
Mike Hobart

??? sounds like you're looking for a drive caddy. Try searching on
Gogle for cd-rom drive caddy and see if what comes up is what you're
looking for.

Puting your laptop model in the search bar too would probably be a
good idea .
