GA-MA785GMT-UD2H memory upgrade issue

After upgrading the RAM from 2X2GB 1333MHZ to 4X2GB 1333MHZ, started to see BSOD in win7 x64 pro edition.
Memtest reported of no errors.
I changed the BIOS setting from UNGANGED to GANGED and so far the system seems stable again.
Is this the correct solution to my problem?

If it works, use it. If you have any more issues, you may have to set the ram timings in the bios using manual mode. Use the higher numbers of the two sets if they don't match.

Yes, that was my next move in case the BSOD still persist.
The 2 pair of sticks actually have same timing values.
