Can someone explain this to me, probably simple. This mother board has a DVI/VGA/HDMI port but it said there is no onboard video chipset.

So I'm guessing you have to have a video card connected for video output? But if that's the case, what are the DVI/VGA/HDMI ports for?

Can someone clarify this for me?

Thanks. :)
