Hello,
ILL PLAY COD4 AND THE FSP WILL GO FROM 125 THEN DROP TP 30,40..ETC THEN GO BACK TO 125???

Are you walking through smoke? Or is something in the game causing a lot of smoke to appear? Also, you'd probably get better luck asking this in the forum ABOUT gaming.

 

That said, specs would help -- what graphics card do you have? CPU? RAM?

you cant expect games to remain exactly the same FPS through all situations. this is normal

Here's how your post should read.

 

When I play COD4, the fps (not fsp) will go from 125 down to 30-40, then it goes back up to 125.

Turn Vsync on and see what happens. Also as mentioned are you walking through smoke when this happens? I remember back when this game came out some lower power cards had this issue. I think you can turn down the smoke setting, or something like that. What are your specs?
