Hi,

I had bit of problems with screwing standoffs thorugh motherboard to case. And I was stupid enough to continue trying mount standoffs without putting I/O plate at the case.

Now, standoff screws are completely locked into case, and I'm completely out of idea how to remove standoffs. I clearly don't want to use case without IO plate.

Is there any solution possible? I don't want to damage the case.. it's brand new.

You mean the Motherboard screws are stuck and you cant get the mobo off to fit the shield,
Put the case so the mobo is flat
Put screwdriver into screw and push down firmly then with a firm snapping motion, turn it anticlockwise to loosen it, the downward pressure is very important :)

PoplicoMan, thank you for your answer but I have tried both... left without success.

motopsychojdn, what kind of screwdriver do I need? Is it something that fits into the standoff, or that completely surrounds the standoff screw?

motopsychojdn, Thanks for the tip. I'll try the 3mm socket and spanner.

PoplicoMan, I tried pyer. But it didn't work for me.. Maybe it is too tight I guess...

Thanks for the replies. I'll try them soon!
