AMD X3 440 unlocking

All I did was to enable ACC in my Biostar 880G+ motherboard without increasing voltage. It was successful until I stressed it under raytracing which then causes my system to do a reboot. I've seen others claiming just a simple enabling of whatever option to enable the unlocking of 4th is all that is needed. But this isn't the case with my system. Is increasing the voltage necessary to ensure a stable unlock?

I'd leave it as a tri core. Its a roll of the dice with these and if i have to modify voltage or anything else then I discard my efforts.

On the other hand, I run two unlocked and clocked X435's with no problems and no extra volts, its luck o the draw, some you win some you don't
