hi all. i have a amd 955 BE quadcore and was curious about some temps. it has the stock cooler on it. when i play a game like age of empires online the fan seems to be running kinda high. i look at core temp and the temperature reading at the bottom says 33min-48 max with a tj max calue of 70. is this to high for this processor? also idk if i can post this here but when i play on my 60inch plasma hd the graphics mess up sometime like ill get a bunch of dots in my screen and when i alt tab out of my game it goes to a black screen and flashes green and purple lines. does this have anything to do with my cpu? thank you.

temps seem normal,

the screen thing seems more live video card / driver to me. try updating your video card driver.

im pretty sure AMD say that the max temp on a core for Deneb should be less than 62, so your temps are looking good. And as the above poster said, its most likely that the artifacts would be from your gpu. What are you using and what driver version is installed?

55C is the desired max temp. 62C is the max but you could have system instability @ 62C.
