Problem deciding between graphics cards

hello,

i am going to purchase a graphics card. i have narrowed down my choices.
but i am confused between GTX460 and HD 6850..
both look promising..
so tell me guys which card i should go for....

plus also tell me if there is a better option.my budget is $200.

What power supply do you have? What are the rest of your system specs? And what games in particular do you play? At what resolution? Some games favor one over the other.

intel core i3 540 @ 3.07
mobo intel dh55pj
ram 4gb ddr3

i mostly play crysis2....cod blackops.......halo...battlefield....mafia2...
screen maximum resolution is 1366 768
budget is $200...

What model 500W do you have?

Between the GTX460 1GB and 6850, its going to be almost a wash. They are pretty equivilent in performance. Mafia 2 supports PhysX so an Nvidia card would give you that benefit. The 6870 is just over $200, I think there are MIR that bring it just under.

This GTX460 has a pretty beefy factory OC if you are interested in that. It is $200 + free 2nd day shipping + $20 MIR

i wanna purchase the first one i mentioned above(EVGA 01G-P3-1372-TR GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) Superclocked 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card).
do you think it is the best in this price range?(i can spend like $220.but that is the limit)
or there could be something better.
