Dual-link DVI to HDMI cable works with 3D?

Hello,
Im considering buying a new 3D monitor for my PS3. As far as I can see, a 3D signal from the PS3 would need HDMI 1.4. (the monitor im looking at uses Dual-Link DVI)
if i got a Dual-link DVI to HDMI cable would this work with 3D?
