Compaq Presario SR1720NX

Hello,

I have an old Presario, sr1720nx and I want to get it all set up in my bedroom to stream movies from my main system. What would be a good graphics card for watching movies? No gaming whatsoever. I have just installed Win7 64 with all the updates. I'd prefer a card that has a HDMI out but that is not necessary since I can run a 3.5mm to rca adapter to the tv.

PS: I know that I'll also need to upgrade the PS since this old gal only comes with a 250w

I would suggest the ati 5450 or the nvida gt430.

And you probably wont need to upgrade the PSU, neither use external power. I even have a 5670 running in my grandsons pc just fine on the 230w psu and since you wont be gaming you wont really be hitting the GPUs high power modes.
