How do i improve my ping ??

Hi Guys

I have Sky Broadband in the uk and have been using their service for about 2 years. Have had no problems with Ping or connection until about 7 weeks ago.

I tend to play PS3 online in the evenings from about 8 -10pm. In the last 7 weeks my Ping goes up to between 200 and 300 at the exact times i want to use the net. As i said this have neber happened before but currently every evening for the past 7 weeks this has happened.

I have tested the ping at 5am in the morning and that tends to be under 50. My download speeds seem to be the same regardles of time of day.

I have spoken to my ISP and they have not helped and have basically said they do not know what the problem is and there is nothing they can do.

Anybody have any ideas how i can reduce this ????

Unfortunately this is a very common problem with ISPs these days. There isn't much you can do outside of demanding that they fix the problem.
