Being held back by motherboard or ram?

I'm trying to make sense of my new PC's motherboard and ram. Running AMD overdrive it shows memory clock of 667 with ram type DDR3 with a frequency of 667 MHz.

Does that mean the ram is being brought down due to the motherboard? Is this substandard for a new PC?

Got at costco, so far I'm not happy with the fan (loud as hell), hard drive (5900RPM) and now maybe this.

I appreciate the feedback.

More about being held back motherboard
  1. Pulled up specs on the motherboard, its a ASUS M5 A88-M. Thinking it is the ram, unless I'm reading these numbers incorrectly.
