Being held back by motherboard or ram? Tags: Motherboards RAM Last response: June 19, 2012 8:40 PM in Motherboards Share shaps June 19, 2012 8:16:10 PM I'm trying to make sense of my new PC's motherboard and ram. Running AMD overdrive it shows memory clock of 667 with ram type DDR3 with a frequency of 667 MHz. Does that mean the ram is being brought down due to the motherboard? Is this substandard for a new PC? Got at costco, so far I'm not happy with the fan (loud as hell), hard drive (5900RPM) and now maybe this. I appreciate the feedback. Thinking it is the ram, unless I'm reading these numbers incorrectly. m 0 l Can't find your answer ? Ask ! Publish Related resources SolvedAm i being held back by my CPU? Forum Am i being held back?
