Which CPU for my new build?

I am looking to build a new computer to game on for BF3.
Problem is WHEN to build it... (which decides the CPU to get)
...
Should I:

1) build PC now, go cheapo route and buy the Phenom II X4 965 (or even 955)

2) build PC now, get i5 2500K,
or alternatively
3) wait for BD and see possible decrease in i5 price, then buy

4) wait and buy BD FX-6...

I am leaning towards 2500K, but like the save in money going for BD. However, I don't like that I have to buy the FX-6 series when the quad series is all I need, but then that comes out in 2012...

You'll all probably say 2500K, so then let me ask: when BD releases, do you think there will be some price decreases from Intel?

Other info... I like to save money, not just from buying cheaper parts, but by future-proofing my system...

depends on competitiveness of Bulldozer which means performance of Bulldozer.

you can get a FX-4 CPU also, AMD will release two of them at launch.

if you have your heart set on the 2500k (and can afford it) then you may as well get it.

Heart is not set at 2500K!

I never heard that they were releasing FX-4 at launch (by that I mean the October launch). Isn't it the two FX-8s, and the FX-6 only?...

FX-4 supposed to be early 2012?
