Max RAM for N68-VS3 FX

I am having RAM doubts with this mobo.

It says 8GB RAM for system max mem. Does it mean I can't install 8GB 1333 per slot or I can install 8GB per slot?

My system is:

Athlon ll X4 640 @ 3.0GHz
Asrock N68-VS3 FX
Antec H20 620 with Res mod
Corsair VS 2x4GB 1333
Samsung 2x320GB
Trendsonic 550W PSU
Samsung Syncmaster T220
Custom acrylic case

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That's 8GB max for both slots combined. Not sure whether or not you can use a single 8GB DIMM though. I would tend to think that it's 4GB max per slot (makes the most sense, since it's Dual Channel).

It looks like you have the max that you can use already, though (although you could use 8GB of 1600 RAM (2x4GB) instead of 1333 if you wanted, but there's really no reason to do that).

Yeah, I've read somewhere that you can't really feel the difference between 1333 and 1600.

I guess I have to get another mobo which can support more RAM.

AE CS6 is such a RAM hog program.
