okay ..so today i got my new Gaming rig ..it works fine ..the shop guy installed win 7 and stuff ..it posted, installed and functioned properly ..i didnt check the contents of My ViewSonic Led 22" HD moniter ..so when i bring it home and rig it up ..i realise that the moniter doesnt come with a DVI or HDMI port ..it has a D-Sub though ..and the GTX570 in my rig doesnt have a D-Sub ..so i plugged the display into the D-Sub on my Mobo ..then when i start up ..It shows the ViewSonic splashscreen ..but then immedietly after that it shows me the message .. "No Signal" ..
Any ideas as to my problem ..tommorow ill go and get DVI and HDMI cables ..but is this unrelated to the cable mishap?
My config is ..
1 AMD Phenom II X4 955BE
2 Corsair DDR3 1333MHz 4x2 GB
3 Zotac GTX 570
4 WD Green 1TB
5 HAF 922
6 ViewSonic VA2238wm LED 22"
7 MS Sidewinder X4
8 Roccat Kone +
9 Creative A235 2.1 ch
10. Lite on 24x DVD RW
11 Corsair GS600 PSU
12 1x 120mm Cooler Master Red LED Fan
13 Roccat Taito Gaming Mat
Help ..! I really want my PC up and running :(  :(

You need a DVI to VGA adapter that you would plug into your Zotac card. They usually come with at least one.

Are you saying your LCD only has a VGA input and no DVI or HDMI?

It's called VGA, more commonly, btw.

If you're plugging it into your motherboard's IGP, you're not going to be able to use your GTX 570.

To remedy this, get a DVI-to-VGA adapter, like Jay said.

But it's odd for it to display something and then just die out on the IGP. Since you didn't tell us what your motherboard is, I can't help you there.
