Wired internet will be removed from my house soon so I have to buy a Wi-fi PCI card. I have never considered getting one till now and I don't see much variety on the market. I live in Ireland so allot of variety is usually a common thing for pc components. So I was wondering if there was anyone out there who knew anything about them and could help.

I'm very disappointed with D-Link Wi-Fi solutions, too... the DWA525 WLAN card I had also refused to work on 5GHz and didn't work with 802.11n although it was supposed to and almost made me exchange my Belkin Wi-Fi router - fortunately, my netbook caught the network way outside of my apartment, thus confirming that the card is actually the problem. My advice would be to stay away from their stuff.
