First gaming computer (semi-budget)

Hello, I need advice on buying my first gaming computer. I want it to be basically console-quality (as in not running newer games at <30 FPS) and will last me at least 2-3 years.

The system you listed is at least 4 times as powerful as any console that has ever existed. Depending on your tv`s resoltuion, it may actually be overkill. But really if you want to play demanding games at 1080p with high settings you might need to upgrade your video card.

So what am I looking at here with this setup? Can I get an estimate?

My TV does say it supports 1080p, but I'm not exactly sure what that would mean.

And if what I do have is too much, then I'm willing to downgrade.
