Recommendation Requested: quality ATX / LGA1155 MB for ONE video card

Here's my dilemma:

I want to build a new PC (ATX w/ i5-2550K) with ONE decent video card.

I don’t mind spending money on a high quality motherboard, nor do I mind spending money on a good video card, but I will not use SLI and prefer space for other add-ons. It seems (I hope I'm wrong) that as soon as I don’t want to use multiple graphics cards, the motherboard quality drops sharply.

Does anyone out there have a recommendation or feedback? Thanks.

why dont you just buy an mATX motherboard and stick it into an ATX case (check my signature, thats what i did)
