Probelms with computer restarting

My computer recently auto updated my video card but the new version was causing issues with screen resolution so I rolled back to the previous driver version. However now whenever I startup the computer after like 5-10 minutes it restarts. I get the Windows did not shut down properly screen and have to choose to start windows normally option. It may repeat this a couple times but then when it starts again I don't have the issue anymore. I already tried a system restore but problem remains.

Try removing the card, booting to windows then installing the latest drivers!!

try the windows repair option or system restor to an earlier date, before the driver change.

I already posted that the newer drivers cause screen resolution issues which is why I decided to roll back the drivers

already tried system restore to even before the drivers auto updated but still have the problem I said this in first post

Start the computer in safe mode and let sit.. If it does not reset it may be pointing to software issues. If it does reset then it may be a problem with hardware or windows.
