Would a 5770 be bottlenecked by an Athlon 650?

So right now I have an Athlon x3 650 and a 5570. I built this machine myself awhile back, and now I am looking into upgrading. I would like to get a 5770 but I'm worried that my CPU would bottleneck it so much I wouldn't notice an improvement over my 5570.

And if it would be severely bottlenecked, would I notice better performance if I upgraded my CPU to a Phenom 965 instead of upgrading my gfx card?

I don't think you'd be bottlenecked, but it also depends what you're playing and at what resolution/details of what would hold you back more (GPU or CPU).

Assuming you mean an Athlon II x3 450 it should be fine and you will see a large improvement.

Meh, not really. Just depends on the game and resolution of course, but overall it would be fine. I'm assuming what you really have is an X4 640 or X3 450 or something. X4s are 6x0 and X3s are 4x0.
