$500 Budget Game-PC

Hey guys, I want to thank you for your help earlier on choosing parts for building my first game pc, It was a very learnable experience and I am in love with my new computer, 30 degrees on Performing is GREAT!

Interested by my success, My sister wants me to build a computer for her. Only thing is, her budget is LOW!

-Graphics card must have a VGA port.
-Must be able to "Play a 3D game while listening to music and using web browsers".
-Must be able to handle new games from next year atleast on lowest quality and current games on good quality.

-500 GB hard disk is enough.
-Sound is not an issue.
-Cooling is important.

Budget : €500,-

  1. Check out my build guide here for $450
  2. Bump
  3. Kinda misleading when you said $500 build...it's more like $600, but the only thing I would change is the CPU and MoBo, since you can go up to 540
replace the CPU w/ the Intel Core i5-2500K http://www.aria.co.uk/SuperSpecials/Other+products/Intel+Core+i5-2500K+3.30GHz+%28Sandybridge%29+Socket+LGA1155+Processor+-+Retail+?productId=43216
and the MoBo w/ the MSI P67A-GD53 http://www.aria.co.uk/SuperSpecials/Other+products/MSI+P67A-GD53+Intel+P67+%28REV+B3%29+Socket+1155+DDR3+PCI-Express+Motherboard+?productId=44074
And since this will be a few euros over your budget, you can choose a cheaper case
  4. That would change the total price to € 530,- but for that hundred bucks more It might be more worthwhile to choose a better graphics card?
I don't know everything about processors but the AMD Phenom II X4 965 shouldn't stray very far away of the i5 2500k when it comes to performance.
  5. yea, a better Graphics card would increase gaming performance more than the CPU
