Hi everyone, so I need some advice regarding my CPU temps. I use an AMD Phenom II X4 955 @ stock speeds. After playing a game, it's temp rises to 60 degrees Celsius or more. I want to know if this is normal or if the temps are too high. Also, I'm using System Info for Windows (SIW) to check my temps. Why is there a difference between the CPU temp and the core temps? Please check the attached picture. Finally if you see any other temps that are too high like say for the GPU or the HDDs please let me know.

Thank you for your advice everyone.

That isn't all that hot at all. It kind of looks like stock cooler temps to be honest. As long as it isn't idling at those temperatures I wouldn't be that worried about it. You said you were just playing a game.

A BSOD would be BAD. I'm trying to prevent it. Also, what software do you use to monitor CPU temps? Finally, are you using a stock heatsink?
